RULES:

Rules for the “Pride of the Northwest X” Competition

Auditions: February 20/10 Preliminaries: March 25/26 Finals: March 27/10

 

Men’s and Ladies Vocal:

  1. The Pride of the Northwest is open to amateur vocalists only. If you earn $2500.00 or more per year as a vocalist you are not eligible to participate.

 

  1. If you have been a previous winner in this category in the past 3 years, you are not eligible to participate in 2010’s competition.

 

  1. Auditions: To be held without music on February 20, 2010. You must be able to sing no less than 2 songs for the judges but judges may only require 1 song for determination.

 

  1. Preliminaries: You will be required to perform on either March 25 or 26 this will be determined at time of audition. You will be required to perform 1 song by karaoke DJ (song to be chosen from the DJ’s song list) on the night of performance. Failure to appear on your requested night of preliminaries will result in automatic disqualification.

 

  1. Finals: You will be required to perform 1 song with a live backup band on the night of March 27/10. This song must be different from the previous songs you have performed. You will be required to provide this song to the event organizer no latter then March 12 at 4pm, failure to do so could mean disqualification from the contest. Song selection is final.

 

  1. You will be required to check in one hour prior to show time on each performance date, failure to do so may result in disqualification.

 

  1. If you have someone on the night of finals other than the band, to accompany you, they MUST bring their own instrument.

 

  1. Once your name is called you will be given 60 seconds to prepare. If you are not ready and on stage by this time frame you will be automatically disqualified.

 

  1. Government photo ID is required. You must have ID on each night of performance.

2.     Must be 19 years of age to enter.

3.     SIGA and/or the Casino reserves the right to use the winner's name, picture, and location for promotional purposes.

4.     Prize draws are intended for casino patrons.

5.     The following are not eligible for prize draws: SIGA employees, agents for SIGA, SIGA Board of Directors members, contractors for SIGA and/or immediate family members residing in the same household as those listed above.

6.     Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

7.     Management reserves the right to cancel or alter this promotion.

8.     Prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash substitution.
